Saving videos to Photos on iPhone or the Android gallery

On Android, downloaded videos save straight to your Downloads folder and may also appear in your Gallery app. On iPhone using Safari, tap the download button, then tap the download arrow in the address bar. Open the downloaded file, tap the Share icon in the bottom corner, and choose Save Video to save a copy in your Photos app.

Choosing between HD and standard quality

For TikTok videos, the HD button appears when the source provides a separate HD link. Quality depends on the available file; this tool does not enhance it. Standard downloads may use less data and storage. For X posts, choose from the available resolutions, such as 720p, or select a lower resolution to save mobile data.

Why some video links fail to download

A download link can fail for several reasons. Private account posts are locked and cannot be retrieved. Deleted posts, expired video links, and posts flagged with adult or sensitive content restrictions are refused by our system. Additionally, make sure the X post actually contains an uploaded video or GIF rather than just photos or a web link preview.

Copying links correctly from the mobile apps

In the TikTok app, tap the Share arrow on the right side of the screen and select Copy link. In the X app, tap the Share icon below the post and tap Copy link. Make sure you copy the exact post URL rather than a profile page or search result page, so our tool can look for the media file.
